Lawlor Junior for Antenatal care

During pregnancy a woman’s body undergoes many physical and chemical changes. Any previous health problems may be exacerbated while other problems can also arise. Our chiropractic therapies, designed specifically to meet the needs of the soon-to-be Mum, have been exceptionally successful in treating the following pregnancy related conditions :

The use of forceps and ventouse extraction means many infants suffer trauma to their cranium and spine at birth. These methods apply pressure to the delicate membranes of the skull which can cause abnormal shaping of the head, creating further problems later in life including scoliosis, headaches, developmental conditions like ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia and orthodontic conditions like crossbite and overbite. Once these distortions are corrected, then other symptoms including colic, irritability and feeding disorders can be resolved. Infant cranial care uses very light touch methods to restore the normal motion and shape of your baby’s skull.
