Shane is a distinguished Sports Chiropractor renowned for his expertise in diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating golf-related injuries. With a wealth of postgraduate training focused on sports and soft tissue injuries, particularly in areas like low back and functional rehabilitation, Shane brings a comprehensive approach to his practice.

He holds a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of South Wales in the UK, where his research delved into the critical topic of ‘Injury Prevalence & Risk Factors in Elite Irish Junior Golfers’. This academic pursuit underscores Shane’s commitment to advancing the understanding and treatment of sports injuries within the golfing community.

For a decade, Shane made significant contributions to the European and PGA Tours, catering to esteemed clientele such as Padraig Harrington, Shane Lowry, Michael Hoey, Peter Uihlein, and Ross Fisher. His impact extended beyond individual athletes, as he has been a valued consultant to Golf Ireland’s High Performance National junior panels since 2017, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of elite junior golfers in Ireland.

Shane’s passion lies in empowering athletes of all levels to optimise their physical performance, allowing them to excel in their respective sports. Beyond his professional endeavors, he dedicates his spare time to globetrotting, conducting extensive research, and studying cutting-edge methodologies to further enhance his ability to help individuals achieve their athletic aspirations.

  • Shane graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic from the University of South Wales in 2006 with a B Sc (Hons) Degree in Chiropractic.

  • Titleist Performance Institute Medical Professional (Level 3), Fitness Professional (Level 2) and Junior Level 2
